Tohru Yoshikawa

Vice President, professor of urban planning, Tokyo Metropolitan University (Japan)
Professor of urban planning in the department of architecture and building engineering. He has been appointed to Vice President for Research of Tokyo Metropolitan University since April 2017. He earned his Ph.D from the University of Tokyo in 1992. His research concern includes quantitative urban analysis, application of GIS and urban modeling to planning and facility location planning. Tohru is also cooperating with several municipalities in Tokyo region as members of planning-related committees.
